ACTIVIST OF THE MONTH

This month, we are honored to recognize Richard LaDez, one of our hardest working volunteers! Richard has volunteered over a hundred days at a sanctuary since we opened our doors, and his carpentry, gardening , grounds maintenance, fencing, and other skills have been instrumental in building and maintaining the Animal Acres sanctuary.

Richard also lends a helping hand at almost every Animal Acres events, and he is currently serving on our Gala Planning Committee for the second year in a row, coordinating our Gala Journal, a large job which requires extensive off farm hours, too. This summer, Richard was asked to be our "Sanctuary Garden/Courtyard Coordinator" to help us beautiful and maintain the sanctuary garden courtyard so it is ready to shine for our upcoming Gala on September 5th.
