Eggless Easter Special Tour Day

Spring blossomed at Animal Acres! Celebrating the renewal of the year with Animal Acres' Eggless Easter Special Tour Day on Sunday April 4th, visitors joined us for special presentations and greeted our animal friends throughout the day! A bountiful spring vegan bake sale with delicious cupcakes, breads, chocolates, and cookies galore was a sweet treat provided by many guests and volunteers! Kids took photos with the Spring Bunny and got decorated with vegan face painting courtesy of The Compassionate Clown Company, and participated in our Vegan Cookie Quest, finding where the Spring Bunny hid the tasty cookies from SunFlour Baking Co.. Thank you to these fantastic companies for sponsoring our first Eggless Easter! All tour fees, bake sale proceeds, and Membership donations helped toward our 2010 Emergency Rescue Fund Drive to raise urgently needed funding for farmed animal rescue efforts. Casper the goose, Mary the sheep, Jumper the pig, and Judy the chicken thank you for celebrating spring with Animal Acres!
