A Very Merry Holiday Event

The holiday season received an ounce more cheer when visitors and animals met up to enjoy Animal Acres' Very Merry Holiday Event. The sun was shining and the mood was mellow as artists displayed their crafts while listening to the Vasquez High School Girls' Choir singing holiday carols. The girls sang for 30 minutes; their beautiful voices led by Music Director, Sharon Roberts.

Guests enjoyed delicious soy cocoa provided by Trader Joe's in Palmdale and devoured scrumptious cupcakes donated by expert vegan baker, Danette Rivera of Rivera's Vegan Goody Parlor and Leda's Bakery. Santa could be heard puffing out a "ho-ho-ho!" in the courtyard and rumor has it one child wished to see the end of suffering for our farm animal friends.

Visitors left with a homemade decoration and good cheer after spending the afternoon at Animal Acres with compassionate people and loving animals.
