Animal Acres Open House

Visitors participated in the Great American Meat Out Celebration at the Animal Acres Open House on Sunday March 28th. Throwing open the barn doors free of charge to all visitors, guests were encouraged to meet their "meat" and interact with our farmed animal friends, sample veggie brats and delicious coconut ice cream sandwiches provided by So Delicious, and see Gazebo film showings and educational presentations. Meat Out is a yearly event put on by FARM, happening for the entire month of March in venues across the globe, encouraging people to explore meat-free alternatives to daily living. Live music was provided by The Petrojvic Blasting Company who kept us dancing. This was a great event to bring someone you know who loves animals, but still eats them!
