The Animal Acres Gala has been relocated and rescheduled due to our fire evacuation - but as they say in Hollywood, "The show must go on!"

Thanks to the kindness of The Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, the Gala will now be held in an internationally renowned country club noted for its spectacular beauty, elegance and design. It is truly a special place to hold our Gala, and we are very grateful.

We hope you can be a part of this special evening for animals, with dozens of Hollywood's famous friends of farmed animals, including celebrity hosts, performers, and other special guests. A limited number of tickets are still available, however we do expect a sold-out Gala soon, and we will not be able to accommodate any additional reservations due to ballroom seating arrangements.

The festivities will begin at 5:00 pm with the cocktail party and auction viewing, followed by a gourmet dinner sponsored by Madeleine's Bistro, L.A.'s premier vegan restaurant. The evening's award ceremony follows, hosted by international best-selling "Skinny Bitch" author, Rory Freedman, and includes performances by comedian Tom Papa, singer Gina LaPiana, singer Donna De Lory, and other special guests. The award ceremony honors individuals and corporations who have made outstanding contributions through their commitment to the cause of protecting farmed animals and promoting compassionate living choices. This year's awardees include Actress Shelley Morrison, "Quantum Wellness" author Kathy Freston, who prompted Oprah Winfrey to do a 21-day vegan cleanse, and Animal Acres volunteer and author/health advocate Bobby Rock. Awards are presented by our celebrity hosts. After the ceremony, we will party so the cows CAN have a home with decadent desserts, drinks, and more.

All proceeds from the Gala will benefit our emergency rescue and shelter programs to provide feed, housing, and veterinary care for suffering farmed animals, and assist with our new emergency evacuation costs and needs. We are deeply grateful for your support, now, more than ever.

Accommodations: The club has a limited number of rooms available - please reserve immediately if you would like to stay here. The club is offering a special rate to Gala guests. Dress: The Gala event is "dressed to impress". Please note all Gala guests must follow the country club's dress code or they will not be admitted. The code includes: 1) Dress shoes (no flip-flops, etc); 2) No denim of any color, code or style; 3) No t-shirts. We recommend gowns or upscale cocktail attire for women; Dress suits or tuxedos for men.
