Persia White

This month, we are honored to recognize actress and advocate Persia White for her dedication to our farmed animal friends. Since Animal Acres opened its doors in 2005, Persia has attended dozens of our events to lend her voice, and raise awareness for the need to rescue and protect farmed animals. Whether it's gathering at our Thankful Turkeys celebration to feed the turkeys with visiting children, or helping us raise funds at our Gala benefit pledge drive, Persia always has a "helping hands" attitude and willingness to do whatever is needed for the cause.
 

Recently, when an indie web radio site wanted to interview Persia about her music and activism, Persia asked that the interview be done at Animal Acres to help promote our work. Persia is ALWAYS thinking about her farmed animal friends, and we, and suffering farmed animals everywhere, thank you Persia, for being such a compassionate advocate.
