Todd Lee

This month we are honored to recognize Todd Lee for his dedication to Animal Acres and our farmed animal friends. Todd joined us this past November as a volunteer intern, devoting an entire month to helping us rescue and protect farmed animals. We quickly learned that Todd was great at everything he did - from helping us coordinate special events to taking excellent care of the sanctuary animals - and always with a smile on his face. His cheerful and positive approach to activism was an inspiration to all of us.
Todd works as a teacher in San Bernardino, and joined us again for a week at the end of December during his holiday break. Once again, this compassionate man worked all day, every day, so that our shelter manager could take a much needed break from work with the shelter left in Todd's capable hands. Todd told us there was no place he'd rather spend the holidays at, and we are deeply grateful for the wonderful holiday gift Todd gave Animal Acres...himself. Thank you Todd, for giving so much, and caring so much, for suffering animals - we are all honored to know you, and work with you, to make this world a more gentle one for all beings.
