Loving Homes Are Needed For Suffering Farmed Animals

Every year in the United States, over 10 BILLION farmed animals are raised, transported and slaughtered for food production. Farmed animal sanctuaries recognize they cannot save every one - but we can help some - and for that individual, sanctuary means everything.
Animal Acres is always in need of loving adoptive homes for suffering farmed animals. Like the downed sheep abandoned at an auction... or a calf slowly dying in a veal crate... or a live hen thrown on a pile of dead hens at an egg factory farm. These are the animals we find during our cruelty investigations at stockyards, factory farms, and slaughterhouses - the ones we don't want to leave behind.
Often our sanctuary is full, and we cannot provide refuge for even one more animal because we have run out of room. That's why we are always looking for compassionate individuals who also want to open their hearts, and home, to a needy farmed animal. Like dogs and cats, companion farmed animals become cherished members of your family, and it will bring you as much joy as you bring to your farmed animal friend.
Currently, Animal Acres' animal housing barns are FULL for sheep, goats, and cattle, so we are particularly in need of homes for these types of animals. Our sanctuary also has friendly turkeys, chickens and pigs available for adoption as well. If you are interested, please give us a call or email us.
Animal Acres adopters are required to complete an adoption application (click here to download a copy) and we are happy to train you on the proper care (health care, humane restraint, feeding, housing, etc) for all types of farmed animals. Please consider making all the difference for a suffering farmed animal - we guarantee it will be the experience of your life.
